1. Who we are

2. Scope

These terms apply to all orders placed through lumatek-lighting.com. By placing an order you confirm that you accept these terms. If you are buying as a consumer, mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence applies in addition to these terms.

3. Products

We take care to describe and show products accurately. Minor variations in colour, appearance and specification may occur, and product images are for illustration. Availability is not guaranteed, and we may update or discontinue products at any time.

4. Orders and contract

Your order is an offer to buy. A binding contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation or dispatch the goods, whichever is earlier. We may decline an order, for example if a product is unavailable or if there is a pricing error.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in the currency and including or excluding taxes as indicated at checkout, and may change over time. The price that applies is the one shown when you place your order. Payment is taken through the payment methods offered at checkout. Goods remain our property until payment has been received in full.

6. Shipping and delivery

We ship to the countries listed at checkout. Delivery times are estimates. Risk of loss or damage passes to you on delivery. Any customs duties or import taxes for deliveries outside the shipping region are your responsibility.

7. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer in the EU, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving a reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party you name, take physical possession of the goods.

To exercise the right, inform us of your decision by a clear statement, for example by email to returns@lumatek-lighting.com. To meet the deadline it is enough to send your communication before the period expires. If you withdraw, we will refund all payments received, including standard delivery costs, without undue delay and within 14 days of being informed, using the same means of payment you used. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied proof of return.

You must send the goods back without undue delay and within 14 days. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are liable only for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

8. Returns

For faulty products, or to start a warranty claim, please use our Returns and Warranty process. We will provide a return reference and instructions before you send anything back.

9. Warranty and guarantee

Lumatek products are covered by a manufacturer warranty, alongside your statutory rights. Warranty terms, what is covered and how to claim are set out on our Warranty page. The commercial warranty does not limit your statutory rights against the seller for goods that are not as described or not of satisfactory quality.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses where you are buying as a consumer.

11. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos and product designs, is owned by Lumatek or its licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy or use it without our written consent.

12. Data protection

We process personal data in line with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and why. Please see the [Privacy Policy link].

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from the mandatory protections of the country in which you live, and disputes may be brought in the courts of your place of residence.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one in force when you place it.
